Google+ for Android
Google+ app for Android now displays 50 million plus downloads, this has happened in the last 15 days.
The reason being such high number could be interest in Google’s social network has suddenly increased or maybe the new Android devices activated daily, the current pace of activation is 1 million devices everyday and Google has added Google+ as one of the core app in Google’s app package (Maps, Gmail, Search, Youtube, Voice Search, Navigation, Latitude) bundled with Play store license!
We could surely expect the app count to hit 100 million downloads in next 2-3 months, Google is hell bent that everybody should use its so called ‘social layer’!
Android could really help Google+ reach a critical mass and bring much needed user engagement on its budding network.
